Dr. Scott is a joint replacement surgeon with specialty training in complex hip and knee reconstruction as well as revisions. He was born in Bergen County NJ, and moved with his family to Montgomery Township, Somerset County in 1993. It was in Montgomery where he spent his formative years, and also where he met his future wife, Risa, with whom he shares 2 beautiful girls. He is a graduate of Montgomery High School and still has deep ties to Central NJ. An early interest in medicine and participation in track and cross country exposed him to orthopedics and helped lay the foundation for his future career. Dr. Scott studied Kinesiology with an interest in movement science at Penn State University. He then went on to study medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UMDNJ-SOM in Stratford, NJ. He completed a 1 year fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Orthopedics at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. After Fellowship, he continued his career in Cooperstown, NY where he led the joint replacement program, specializing in complex hip and knee reconstruction and revisions. After 7 years in Cooperstown, he is excited to return to Central NJ and serve the community he considers home. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, learning the finer points of equitation from his daughter, boating and cooking.
