Prajakta Avhad, MD joins Mercer-Bucks Orthopaedics!

Dr. Prajakta Avhad is double board-certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology.

Dr. Prajakta Avhad is double board-certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. She received her M.B.B.S. from MIMER, India and completed her surgical internship and anesthesia residency at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York during which she also spent a considerable amount of time at Memorial Sloan Kettering for Thoracic Anesthesia, St. Luke’s Roosevelt for Neuro Anesthesia and Staten Island Hospital for Cardiac Anesthesia electives.

She then completed her Pain Management Fellowship from Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Avhad is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

She has been in practice in Central and South Jersey since 2009. She is a caring physician with expertise in treating a spectrum of pain conditions like chronic back and neck pain, herniated discs/sciatica, RSD, post laminectomy pain syndrome, joint osteoarthritis, ultrasound guided procedures to treat joint and nerve pain, and minimally invasive spine procedures.

Dr. Avhad will be seeing patients in MBO's Princeton office location.
