Dr. Collins grew up in sunny south Florida. She was born in the city of Plantation and attended Forest Hill High School where she participated in a Magnet Program specializing in environmental science and technology. Her passion for science and medicine was developed early on through extensive field studies and research. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Houston where she participated in an honors college thesis program and was a member of the Scholars Academy.
Following undergrad she attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY where she did a year of graduate research in medical microbiology and wound care leading her pursuit into Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Collins obtained her medical degree from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL and completed residency training in foot and ankle surgery at Virtua Health System in New Jersey.
Dr. Collins sees patients of any age addressing all podiatric concerns. She has extensive training in foot and ankle surgery and her interests include reconstructive and minimally invasive procedures. In her spare time, Dr. Collins enjoys hiking and traveling, as well as spending time with her family. She has participated in two medical mission trips to Guatemala and El Salvador and intends to continue those endeavors throughout her career.
